About The Position
This is a PRN diagnostic radiology technologist position, suitable for students with an interest in multiple modalities. The role involves assisting in imaging exams under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse. Duties include both clerical tasks such as patient scheduling, registration, and record keeping, as well as patient care tasks like transporting patients, preparing them for procedures, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures after appropriate training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 0-3 years of experience
- May require Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties including patient scheduling & registration, patient screening, reception, release of information, and maintaining inventory.
- Perform patient care duties including transporting and transferring patients, preparing patients for procedures, discussing exams and preps with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by regional leadership and with documentation of training and competency.
- Assist in performing imaging exams under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
