Imaging Patient Assistant, PRN; Rotating Evenings & Weekends
About The Position
Imaging Patient Assistants (IA's) perform assigned activities, including coordinating outpatient changing, escorting patients, assisting with moving and transporting patients, and performing CPR when necessary. They assist in the screening process of Imaging patients and perform clerical and scheduling functions. IA's are responsible for appropriate consent forms and exam prep work. They maintain their work area in an efficient, organized state, following all safety and confidentiality guidelines. IA's maintain a high professional standard of conduct and patient care, while exemplifying and promoting Augusta Health values.
Requirements
- CPR certified or willing to complete an approved course
- Experience working in a hospital or health care environment
- Effective communication skills
