Provides point of contact service for anyone entering or calling the Imaging Department. Creates a positive, professional impression for each patient, family member, physician, or staff while performing primary duties. Exercises good personal judgment in problem solving, patient needs, and physician requests. Primary Duties include: Registering patients; collecting co pays/ other payments due; answering phones; making patient appointment reminder calls; serve as a liaison and assistant to physicians, technologists, and nursing staff in Imaging Services; uses Synapse and PACS GEAR to make and/or load CD's; adhere to strict guidelines for release of patient's Imaging records, filling out and obtaining all necessary paperwork.
