About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed, following established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. The role performs a wide range of duties assigned by the Imaging department, requires good interpersonal and communication skills, and follows Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy at all times. PRN Imaging Assistants are expected to be available for approximately one shift per week, one weekend per month, and to participate in the holiday rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability for approximately one shift per week, one weekend per month, and participation in the holiday rotation.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of patient care experience.
