About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed, following established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. The assistant performs a wide range of duties assigned by the Imaging department, uses good interpersonal and communication skills, and follows Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy at all times.

The position is based at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, within the CT department. It is full-time, scheduled for 40 hours per week on the night shift, with hours of 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Workdays vary, and the position includes every third weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Two years of patient care experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is listed as preferred; the posting also states it is required upon hire.
