About The Position

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Imaging Aide to join their team at the Main location. This role is crucial in assisting patients through the radiology process, ensuring a patient-centered imaging experience with an emphasis on quality patient care. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Experience using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a related position within a hospital or clinic setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and escort patients within the imaging department or from the physician station.
Enter and/or verify patients’ demographics and history of exams ordered into databases and electronic medical records.
Ensure patients are ready for imaging exams, including proper attire, and assist patients onto radiology equipment as needed.
Remove a splint or cast from a patient if needed.
Communicate with patients and family regarding wait times and check on the comfort of patients.
Use electronic medical records and imaging systems, paying close attention to exam details.
Prepare radiology department daily, including cleaning, stocking, and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
Stock imaging rooms daily.
Communicate and perform as a team with your technologist(s) to ensure quality patient care.
