About The Position

This position is for an Imagery Scientist with expertise in Electro-Optical (EO) systems, located in Springfield, VA. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a current CI polygraph. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in EO to analyze imagery, develop new algorithms and processes, and communicate findings to various audiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an EO expert.
• Understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products.
• Experience exploiting EO to determine the occurrence and location of an OOI.
• Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using EO imagery.
• Experience utilizing advanced processing tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine, etc.) to automate scientific processes of EO imagery data to aid analysis.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences on availability and capabilities of EO.
• Deep understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods.
• TS/SCI REQUIRED.
• Current CI polygraph is required immediately after starting (or already within scope).

• Experience applying CV and ML techniques to EO imagery and data.
