About The Position

The Independent Living/Supported Living Services Department is seeking a patient and reliable Trainer to provide life skills training and independent living support to a female adult with developmental disabilities. The client prefers female trainers. The Trainer will supervise and assist the client with shopping, money management, doctors' appointments, meal preparation, and other goals the client is working to achieve.

Requirements

• Available Tuesdays from 2 PM to 6 PM and Thursdays from 2 PM to 6 PM.
• Able to use smartphone applications for timekeeping and documentation.
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Successfully complete a Department of Justice background screening.
• Successfully complete a physical and TB test.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least five years of driving experience.
• Have a reliable, insured personal vehicle.
• Patient and understanding.

• Experience working with the developmentally disabled population.
