About The Position

Cockram Construction is seeking an Investment Lifecycle Management (ILM) Manager to serve as an owner representative for their client. This role is crucial for supporting the client's ILM governance process, which involves reviewing and approving capital projects and leases. The ILM Manager will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure they are prepared for monthly governance meetings.

Requirements

Demonstrated construction project delivery skills, in a Project Manager or Project Controls Manager role.
Experience of Capital Planning and Capital Project Approvals process.
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – at various levels of the organization.
Ability to progress actions on multiple fronts with multiple different cross-functional project teams, with tenacity and flexibility.
Proficiency in digital tools/AI.

Nice To Haves

Portfolio Management experience.
Experience working for a client organization in the above areas.
Pharma/biotech experience.

Responsibilities

Review and update capital authorization requests and partner with multiple capital & lease project teams to ensure readiness for monthly project review & governance meetings.
Prepare concise, executive-ready written communications for capital governance committees.
Lead cross-functional meetings with project teams to ensure concise, accurate, and complete capital authorization requests.
Identify and lead continuous improvement activities, including process simplification/streamlining & automation activities to drive ILM duration reductions and efficiency.
Update Investment Lifecycle Management (ILM) Guidelines and associated training materials.
Understand ILM-related Global Finance Policies and Procedures to provide guidance to project teams and ensure compliance.
