About The Position

Panduit is hiring an IEI Systems Engineering Intern to support its Systems and Renewable Energy Engineering Team, which works on tools, subsea cable protection systems, and renewable energy products. The team includes mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as a drafter and technician. The intern will support business development or product management across a diverse product set while learning about brainstorming and new product development processes. The role offers hands-on experience supporting engineering innovation, product design, and testing.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year mechanical engineering degree program.
• Have completed at least four semesters by the start of the internship.
• CAD experience is required.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Panduit will not sponsor work visas now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of FEA and an interest in materials science.

Responsibilities
