About The Position

Moog's Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer 2027 block Systems Engineering intern. The role is onsite in Elma, New York, and reports to an Engineer, Systems. The intern will contribute to team-specific projects and provide technical support to engineers while working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
• Have a GPA of at least 3.0; the exact GPA requirement will be specified by the department.
• Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, validation, and verification of team-specific projects.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
