The Engineering Development Program (EDP) at UPS is a structured 4-month training program for highly qualified Industrial Engineers. The program involves interactive classroom training, self-paced computer-based-training, on-the-job training, and a structured support network. Upon completion of the program, the engineer will have the opportunity to move into an Industrial Engineering (IE) Supervisor position as detailed below.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following preferred majors: Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Engineering & Technology Management, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Operations Management/Research
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
