The Engineering Development Program (EDP) at UPS is a structured 4-month training program for highly qualified Industrial Engineers. The program involves interactive classroom training, self-paced computer-based-training, on-the-job training, and a structured support network. Upon completion of the program, the engineer will have the opportunity to move into an Industrial Engineering (IE) Supervisor position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following preferred majors: Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Engineering & Technology Management, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Operations Management/Research
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
