About The Position

The Engineering Development Program (EDP) at UPS is a structured, four-month training program for highly qualified Industrial Engineers. It combines hands-on experience in UPS Operations with classroom learning, self-paced computer-based training, and structured mentorship. The position leads the planning and execution of large project implementations and training initiatives. After successfully completing the program, participants are eligible to transition into an Industrial Engineering (IE) Supervisor role, applying their training to lead teams, drive process improvements, and support operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a preferred major listed in the job description.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License by the start date of employment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity, and dedication to getting results.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
