About The Position

Anesthesia Dynamics is seeking an experienced and motivated IDR Data Processing Team Lead to support our growing Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) team in Wichita, Kansas. This position provides day-to-day leadership, workflow oversight, quality assurance, and team development support for employees managing the federal IDR process. If you have experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, medical billing, claims processing, or healthcare administration and enjoy leading others while improving operational performance, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, claims processing, IDR, or related healthcare operations
  • 1+ year of experience in team leadership, quality review, training, coaching, or workflow coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain CMS Federal IDR Gateway access

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Medical Billing, or a related field
  • Experience with the Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process
  • Previous experience as a Team Lead, Trainer, Auditor, Quality Analyst, or Senior Processor
  • Familiarity with payer portals, practice management systems, and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily work assignments and workflow distribution to ensure timely completion of IDR activities
  • Monitor case inventories, aging reports, due dates, and productivity metrics
  • Serve as a resource for team members by providing guidance, coaching, and training
  • Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process adherence
  • Review claims information, supporting documentation, payer correspondence, and case submissions
  • Identify and resolve processing errors, documentation gaps, and workflow issues
  • Support onboarding, cross-training, and employee development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS requirements, and company policies
  • Escalate operational concerns and contribute to process improvement efforts
