About The Position

The Data Entry Processing Lead assists Data Entry personnel with daily processing questions and supports the department supervisor in all aspects of Data Entry operations, including staff support, scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing training. This position helps ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Background and Drug Screening is required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in data entry or a lead role required.
  • Strong data entry skills involving both alphabetic and numeric information.
  • Experience using a 10-key calculator with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based desktop applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Frequent handling of paperwork and documents.
  • Continuous keyboard use requiring repetitive hand and finger movements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process financial information using a PC workstation.
  • Ensure all payments are processed accurately and within contractual service-level requirements.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, workflow planning, and daily production activities.
  • Monitor performance within the Data Completion area and assist in documenting performance concerns.
  • Review processing errors and provide feedback and coaching to Data Entry staff.
  • Conduct research on unprocessed payments (suspense items) using systems such as Kidstar and CSE.
  • Communicate with employers, counties, and DCSS resources regarding payment-related issues.
  • Prepare and provide accurate reports on unprocessed payments to management.
  • Perform quality control reviews and assist with Data Entry Quality Ratings.
  • Maintain professional standards of conduct, including attendance, appearance, and workplace behavior.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
