About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical, patient-centered care in an intensive care setting, particularly during night shifts. The role includes monitoring and assessing patients, administering prescribed medications and treatments, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting patients and their families. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to promote optimal patient outcomes. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. The facility has multiple ICU beds and provides comprehensive critical care services. Candidates with pending state licenses may be considered.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Prior ICU experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
