About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The 34-bed ICU cares for adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old, with nurse-patient ratios of 1:1–2 in ICU, 1:4–5 in PCU, and 1:5–6 in Med Surg. Patients may have neurological surgeries, respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, general surgery needs, psychiatric disorders or overdoses, gastrointestinal bleeds, and cancer-specific surgeries.

The role includes 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and work on two out of three major holidays or as needed. The dress code is navy blue scrubs. Orientation consists of two shifts of unit- or department-specific orientation. The unit emphasizes collaboration and high-quality care.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Strong critical-thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Titrate medications, including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical staff.
• Use advanced medical equipment and technology.
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations.
