The WI Float Pool is a multi-site resource team supporting Intensive Care Units (ICU) care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. This role offers travel-nursing-style variety without the travel, working across multiple Aurora Health facilities through day-to-day floating or 6-week site rotations. It provides a fresh, dynamic work environment with exposure to various departments and patient populations, helping to prevent routine fatigue and keep work exciting. It is a career-building experience that demonstrates adaptability, competence, and the ability to manage diverse clinical situations. The role offers competitive compensation, including base pay, float differentials, shift and weekend premiums, and maximum flexibility with self-scheduling a minimum of 12-hours per 6-week schedule, no on-call requirements, 1 weekend shift every 12 weeks, and only one holiday per year.
