About The Position

The ICTV Entertainment Director is a student leadership role responsible for overseeing all Entertainment programming on ICTV. This position involves training producers, coordinating quality productions, selecting producers for shows, managing equipment allocation, and ensuring professional broadcasts. The role also entails serving as the Executive Producer for all Entertainment programming and meeting weekly with the ICTV Executive Staff. This position is part of Ithaca College’s student employment program, which aims to provide meaningful experiential learning opportunities, develop transferable skills, and allow students to apply classroom knowledge in professional settings, fostering personal and professional growth. Requirements

• At least one semester of experience volunteering within ICTV.
• Include a cover letter explaining what you would bring to the position and what ideas you have for ICTV moving forward.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the I-9 and employment eligibility requirements.
• Bring original, unexpired, authorized personal identification documents to your designated representative or The Office of Human Resources to complete the form.
• Subject to a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Helping producers in their department train their cast/crew members at the beginning of each semester.
• Coordinating meetings and critiques with all Entertainment producers to ensure quality and ethical productions.
• Selecting Producers for shows that have requested the Entertainment Director to select.
• Managing the allocation of all ICTV Checkout Center equipment for Entertainment Shows.
• Ensuring cohesive and professional broadcasts for all Entertainment programming on ICTV.
• Serving as the Executive Producer of all Entertainment programming.
• Meeting weekly with the rest of the ICTV Executive Staff.
