About The Position

The ICTV Director of Development is a student role at Ithaca College, part of a student employment program designed to offer meaningful experiential learning opportunities and develop transferable skills. This position allows students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world professional settings, fostering personal and professional growth. The director is responsible for supporting shows in development, collaborating with department heads to improve content and production, providing updates to the Executive Staff, meeting with new producers to refine show pitches, and attending weekly meetings with the ICTV Executive Staff. Requirements

• At least one semester of experience volunteering within ICTV.
• Include a cover letter explaining what you would bring to the position and what ideas you have for ICTV moving forward.
• Attach both a resume and cover letter.
• Successful completion of the I-9 and employment eligibility requirements.
• Bring original, unexpired, authorized personal identification documents to your designated representative or The Office of Human Resources to complete the I-9 form.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to all shows given development status by the Executive Staff.
• Working in conjunction with the show’s department head to initiate a plan to improve each show’s content and production.
• Giving periodic updates on the status of shows in development to the Executive Staff.
• Meet with new producers of prospective shows to refine their show pitches.
• Meeting weekly with the rest of the ICTV Executive Staff.
