About The Position

We are currently looking for one (1) ICT Technology Designer. In this role, you will be assisting and working with an ICT Project Manager and the greater project team members to provide designs for IMIT Systems Designs that are in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, and the Client requirements. The IMIT systems designs will address a range of Digital Systems including Structured Cabling System Infrastructure, Wireless Access Points, Distributed Antenna Systems, Security Systems, Intercommunication System, Public Address Systems, Emergency Call Systems, Audio Visual Systems, Nurse Call Systems, Lighting Control Systems, and Building Management Systems. You will assist with the design and documentation of IMIT systems in Revit, while gradually developing the knowledge and experience needed to take on broader design responsibilities within the Integrated Communication & System Solutions (ICS2) Team. Requirements

At least 2 years’ related experience designing ICT Systems for various building types.
Completion of either a Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, OR a Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work within a team under supervision and be able to transition to work independently quickly.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, with the ability to quickly learn and use software tools required for design work and project coordination.

Nice To Haves

Revit experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the design and documentation of IMIT systems in Revit.
Gradually developing the knowledge and experience needed to take on broader design responsibilities within the Integrated Communication & System Solutions (ICS2) Team.
