About The Position

Network180 is the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We are seeking an ICM Outpatient Therapist. Network180’s outpatient Integrated Case Management is a Patient-Centered Health Home that is based on the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines for the Patient-Centered Medical Home. This multidisciplinary team-based model includes: a psychiatrist, registered nurse, medical assistant, case managers, outpatient therapists and peer support. The team serves consumers with serious mental illness and substance use disorders with an emphasis on evidence-based therapeutic treatments.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Limited license master social worker (LLMSW), limited license professional counselor (LLPC), limited license counselor (LLC); OR Full license as master social worker (LMSW), professional counselor (LPC), psychologist (LP), marriage and family therapy (LMFT). Must be eligible to obtain a limited license within one (1) month of hire if not fully licensed.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.

Nice To Haves

  • CAADC certification through MCBAP or be able to obtain a development plan for the credential.
  • Training in and experience with providing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic treatments to consumers with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including a psychiatrist, registered nurse, medical assistant, case managers, and peer support.
  • Serve consumers within the framework of a Patient-Centered Health Home.
  • Work effectively in a multicultural environment and bridge language/cultural barriers to services within diverse communities.
