About The Position

Volt is hiring a Material Handler in Pacheco, California. The role supports manufacturing and laboratory operations by preparing and processing stock solutions and finished products, operating manufacturing equipment, maintaining supplies and workspaces, and completing controlled manufacturing documentation. Work must comply with applicable GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements, as well as established procedures and quality-system requirements. The position is described as full-time and contract.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Zero to two years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with applicable GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements.
Clean and maintain containers, measuring devices, and workspaces according to established procedures.
Monitor equipment and instrumentation during use to ensure compliance with operating procedures.
Complete required documentation accurately and contemporaneously according to document control procedures.
Prepare, fill, and label stock solutions and finished products according to manufacturing instructions.
Print and apply labels, data sheets, and associated documentation for manufacturing operations.
Generate and complete batch records and associated manufacturing documentation.
Clean and prepare laboratory glassware, containers, and measuring devices in accordance with established cleaning procedures.
Operate manufacturing equipment, including the auto bagger, according to approved procedures.
Assist in setting up and operating the automated filling line under the direction of senior staff or supervisors.
Monitor laboratory supply levels and restock materials as needed to support manufacturing activities.
Maintain an organized and compliant laboratory workspace.
Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and quality-system requirements.
Identify and communicate process deviations, issues, or potential quality improvements to supervision.
