219101 FOL Ice Rink Attendant
About The Position
The Ice Rink Attendant must be able to monitor the skating area, issue out skates, and assist guests when needed. The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below. Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must be able to work well with large groups
- Must be available to nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Ability to carry 10lbs
Nice To Haves
- Ability to ice skate preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Monitor guests on ice and offer assistance when needed
- Maintain and clean skates periodically
- Keep skating area clean
- Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens
