About The Position
As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will deliver the magic that is the Clementine's experience for our new guests, ensuring a successful opening of our Columbia parlor. Exclusive availability needed on August 1 to begin training to be acquainted with our operations and team. Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyor of Yum), create magical and memorable moments in Parlor for all guests. Responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, assisting with selection of handcrafted flavors and/or curated merchandise, answering questions, processing sales, and maintaining parlors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or food service preferred
- Food handlers permit or ServSafe certification preferred
- Flexible work schedules including weekends, holidays, days, and evenings.
- Ability to operate POS
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication and guest service skills
Responsibilities
- Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations.
- Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system.
- Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques.
- Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
- Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked.
- Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft.
- Assist with other tasks as needed
