Ice Cream Packer
About The Position
The Ice Cream Packer position is part of the Production Department at the Cameron Street facility. The shift is Monday-Friday from 2:20 PM to midnight (or completion). This role offers a consistent schedule with an average of 40-50 hours per week and consistent overtime pay after 40 hours. The starting wage is $21.69 per hour, increasing to $22.29 after 60 days of positive performance. Overtime hours are paid at $33.43 per hour. The company provides 100% paid healthcare and life insurance for the employee, and a 401K with a company match.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Food manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for majority of shift
- Must be able to complete twisting and reaching motions while seated
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks
Responsibilities
- Work as part of ice cream production crew ensuring proper packaging and boxing of ice cream products
- Maintaining our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, and production requirements.
- Must observe all safety procedures, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Other responsibilities as they are assigned.
