About The Position
The City of Jefferson is currently accepting applications for Ice Arena Attendants for our Parks and Recreation Department. These positions work at the Washington Park Ice Arena.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to deal with the public in a cordial, cooperative, and friendly manner
- Ability to consistently and equitably enforce facility rules and regulations
- Skating skill must be acquired within the first month of employment
Nice To Haves
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous money handling experience
- Experience operating a computer
- Experience operating an electronic cash register
- Concession experience
Responsibilities
- Collection of fees for the admission and concession counters
- Public relations
- Supervision of patrons and rules enforcement
- Care and maintenance of rental skates
- Facility cleanliness and custodial duties in and around the facility
- Preparation and sale of concessions items
- Rink guarding during public sessions
- Other duties as assigned
