About The Position

Infineon Technologies is seeking interns to join their team and contribute to creating tiny chips and big careers. This internship focuses on the design and validation of analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for radiation-hardened (RadHard) power management applications.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of circuit design and semiconductor device fundamentals.
  • Experience with Cadence tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with a self-driven and team-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and validate analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for radiation-hardened (RadHard) power management applications.
  • Collaborate with physical designers to ensure optimal block layout and RadHard performance, and oversee behavioral modeling of IP.
  • Document and review critical aspects of design architecture, implementation, and testing processes.
  • Participate in top-level simulation-based verification of integrated circuits (ICs).
  • Guide lab and test engineers in the validation and characterization of mixed-signal IP.
