About The Position

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 13 states with over 3,500 employees. Rogers Group is currently seeking an IBM Planning Analytics System Specialist to join our FP&A team as the primary technical owner of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). This role leads system administration, model development, and continuous improvement to support enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with Finance, IT, and leadership to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, CS, IS, or related field.
  • 3+ years IBM PA/TM1 experience (5+ preferred).
  • Strong TI, Rules, and MDX experience.
  • Experience supporting financial planning/reporting cycles.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), PAW, PAfE, TI, Rules, Chores, ReportWorq.
  • MDX (required): dynamic subsets, named sets, optimization.
  • ETL, ERP integration (Oracle preferred), SQL, data warehousing.
  • Security, environment, and license management.
  • Financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, P&L).
  • Excel, Microsoft 365, project/change management.

Responsibilities

  • Administer TM1 environment (security, access, reconciliations, upgrades, environments).
  • Design and maintain cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, and TI processes.
  • Develop Rules, Feeders, and automate ERP/operational integrations.
  • Implement planning models and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Translate financial requirements into technical solutions.
  • Modernize models using MDX and Planning Analytics standards.
  • Automate Excel-based processes and build self-service reporting.
  • Support close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
  • Document systems, train users, and manage enhancements/governance.
