About The Position

This role involves administering and maintaining the IBM Maximo Application Suite system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The position requires providing support for Maximo users, assisting with system upgrades and patches, and developing system documentation. The administrator will also perform data imports/exports, configure the system, and collaborate with IT and business teams to implement solutions. Monitoring system performance, optimizing configurations, and troubleshooting technical issues are key responsibilities. The role also includes customer-facing responsibilities, pre-sales activities, and creating business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Maximo Configuration and Customization.
  • Experience with Maximo Upgrade projects and familiarity with Maximo IT & Utilities.
  • Proficient in Maximo Administration skills, including WebSphere app server.
  • Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS8) and RedHat OpenShift.
  • Proven experience as a Maximo Application Administrator.
  • Skills in Maximo Integration with external systems/interfaces.
  • Experience with RedHat operating systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as IBM Cloud, Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite installation processes.
  • Experience with SSO, LDAP, and SAML configurations.
  • Proficiency in databases such as IBM DB2, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Ability to collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts across internal and external teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management, client interactions, proposal writing, and providing architectural solutions based on customer expectations.
  • Involvement in pre-sales activities and creating business opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Maximo Configuration Migration using Migration Manager.
  • Customer-facing experience and support roles.
  • Exposure to Maximo Performance optimizations and troubleshooting.
  • Working experience with one or more IBM MAS Offerings (MAS Manage, CP4D, Monitor, Health, Predict, MVI).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud technologies.
  • MAS8/9 Admin, Maximo 7.x/EAM, Maximo Integration Framework (WIF), OpenShift Administration and Maximo day 2 support.
  • Experience with anyone databases like Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 databases.
  • Experience on anyone cloud technologies such as GCP, IBM Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
  • Willing to learn MAS functional.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Maximo users, addressing and resolving system-related issues promptly.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to keep the system current and functional.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and procedures.
  • Perform data imports, exports, and configure the system as required.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, optimize configurations for efficiency, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance on complex system implementations.
  • Integrate Maximo with external systems/interfaces.
  • Provide 24x7 support and work in shifts as needed.
  • Manage project management, client interactions, proposal writing, and providing architectural solutions based on customer expectations.
  • Involvement in pre-sales activities and creating business opportunities.
  • Support MAXIMO demos.
