About The Position

GHG Corporation is seeking a Maximo Lead Developer to support an IBM contract. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications for USPS enterprise systems. The Lead Developer will conduct multidisciplinary research, collaborate with engineers and analysts, and deliver robust software solutions. Responsibilities include leading the development of algorithms, database design, and integration strategies, overseeing developer teams, ensuring software quality, and mitigating risks. The position requires applying scientific analysis and modeling to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within time and constraints. The role demands deep knowledge of Maximo's functional and technical areas, creating software development plans and strategies, developing and implementing algorithms, database design, overseeing developers, conducting quality control, and proactive risk identification and mitigation. Tasks include Maximo development & customization, algorithm & database development, software development planning, collaboration & knowledge sharing, and research & problem solving.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Technical Functional resource of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software.
  • IBM Maximo 7.x application configuration and support (e.g., Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing).
  • IBM Maximo 7.x installation and upgrade experience.
  • Experience with Maximo Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer and Database Configuration applications.
  • Java and Python programming.
  • Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
  • Certified Maximo Deployment Professional.
  • Eligible for Security Clearance: United States - MBI.
  • Must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident Alien (No HQ visa holders).

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications for USPS enterprise systems.

  • Maximo Development & Customization (30%) – Design, code, and implement Maximo applications, enhancements, and configurations across functional and technical areas.
  • Algorithm & Database Development (25%) – Develop algorithms and design/optimize relational databases to support performance and scalability.
  • Software Development Planning (20%) – Create software development plans, technical strategies, and coding standards to guide project execution.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing (15%) – Work closely with stakeholders and team members, contributing to solution design and sharing technical expertise.
  • Research & Problem Solving (10%) – Conduct research on specialized areas, devise solutions to potential issues, and evaluate alternatives.
