About The Position

Deliver adequate monitoring and failsafe solutions (HA, DRP) for OpenStack cloud; Support and scale company; Internal OpenSource cloud solution. Our cloud - OpenStack (over 1000 hosts in 4 DC installations 2024.1): Ironic with Dell iDRAC9; VM on local storage without FC/iSCSI. Infrastructure services, such as: Proxies, DNS, caches, gateways, etc; Prometheus\VictoriaMetrics; Roles\chars\modules for IaC (Ansible, Terraform); CI/CD for cloud provision.

Requirements

• Broad technical outlook and deep understanding of modern software development and high-load projects
• Mastery of Linux. Know why things work on a Linux system - not just how to configure them
• Experience with large-scale deployments involving private and/or hybrid platforms
• Hands-on experience deploying Linux Containers in production with any container scheduling technology
• Expert knowledge of OpenStack in the area of architecture and interaction of platform components: nova, neutron, ironic, placement, swift, glance, keystone and etc.
• Expert understanding of the ability to implement Infrastructure as Code principles: terraform, ansible, full-fledged CI with linters and test runs, etc.
