About The Position

Legends and ASM Global have partnered to redefine excellence in sports, entertainment, and live events. Legends is the official hospitality partner of Raymond James Stadium, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This partnership includes overseeing the food and beverage program development and management for concessions, suites, and premium areas for all game days, concerts, and special events. Legends Hospitality is seeking a part-time IT Lead to provide Point-of-Sales (POS) support for concession locations at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The primary focus is event-day support for POS terminals, IT-related infrastructure, and leading fellow team members to maintain operational readiness. This is a part-time position with hours allocated based on the event schedule, ideal for an experienced IT professional seeking part-time work in the POS or IT field. Success in this role requires availability for flexible hours in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities, and event attendance is of primary concern. Applicants should be able to work weekends and evenings or whenever an event is scheduled.

Requirements

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends for all events at the stadium.
  • Must be available for all Tampa Bay Buccaneers games and all major events.
  • Experience in the IT field and Staff training.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and come up with solutions on the fly in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work/transport yourself the equivalent of 10,000+ steps at an event.
  • Ability to communicate quickly and efficiently via SMS text/Radio.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds to move POS equipment as required by the event.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service in a designated area and assist in directing IT Staff assigned.
  • Train and mentor new staff.
  • Monitor stands for consistency of operations during events.
  • Ensure that guests are receiving the best possible experience and are satisfied with their visit.
  • Assess and prioritize issues and requests accordingly to minimize operational impact.
  • Provide level 2 support for all point-of-sale system problems and escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct stadium walk-through to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events.
  • Replacement of defective hardware before, during, and after events.
  • Diagnosis of software errors versus hardware breakage.
  • Conduct basic network troubleshooting.
  • Aid in cable management efforts and maintain the neat appearance of POS register areas.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all standards and practices.
