About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area. OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible. The mission of OCES is: Through the talents of an experienced and diverse workforce, OCES supports the independence and dignity of older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy, safe living which positively impacts our community. We are seeking an Information & Referral Supervisor who will be responsible for assuring compliance with EOEA regulations pertaining to the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium (ADRC) and I&R programs.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in social services or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of social services experience, preferably at least 1 year in ADRC programs
  • Ability to gain/ maintain SHINE certification within six months of hire
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise program staff
  • Outreach activities to grow consumer base and expand program reach
  • Ensure quality measures and compliance requirements, correcting any deficiency
  • Lead meetings and staff development trainings
  • Advise, consult, and collaborate with other OCES programs to ensure knowledge of I&R services and drive program growth
  • Represent OCES at appropriate professional and community meetings as required
  • Create, revise, and implement necessary program procedures
