Under general supervision, this position will safely and efficiently install, configure, test, calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, maintain and inspect transmitters (I.e. Pressure/Level/Temperature/Flow). This role involves troubleshooting and repairing AC motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFD), control circuits and programmable logic controller (PLC) operations. The technician will ensure proper Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and safely isolate and de-energize equipment before performing work, while following all Safety, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements. Responsibilities include the installation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and pneumatic components, generator control panels and units, electric controlled pump units and burner management systems. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, Product Service Manuals (PSM), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), schematics, sketches, and specs to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Additionally, the technician will routinely perform preventative maintenance and accurately record all work orders, updates, maintenance and repair of equipment utilizing the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Other duties as assigned.
