About The Position

Supports projects, installs and maintains facility instrumentation, to ensure a safe, comfortable, operating environment. This role involves identifying current and future Instrumentation/controls requirements by establishing rapport with various personnel, ensuring production operations by scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of controls equipment, and supporting product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans and coordinating with other facility crafts. The position also requires supporting and maintaining Electronic, Mechanical, and Pneumatic instrumentation of various types and manufacturers, as well as Facility Automation and SCADA Equipment. Adherence to company values, vision, and mission, along with maintaining an established work schedule, attendance standards, and punctuality, are essential. Additionally, the role involves maintaining confidentiality, contributing to team efforts, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years minimum experience required in instrumentation maintenance.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems.
  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day while on-shift for emergencies, etc.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of DCS/SCADA PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of microprocessor-based systems, HMIs, and PLCs including GE Fanuc and Allen Bradley or similar.

Nice To Haves

  • Oil and gas field experience preferred.
