About The Position

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an I&C Engineer opportunity to support the Savannah River Site. The role involves providing support engineering services, including engineering analysis, system walk-downs, design development, and the generation of various design output documents. These documents may include P&IDs, Control Logics, Loop Diagrams, Instrument Indices, Setpoint Lists, Instrument and Control Valve Specifications, DCS and PLC Design, Instrument Location and Installation Design, Panel Layouts, and Vendor Document Review.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or I&C Engineering, or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of these disciplines.
• Five (5) years of design experience in the nuclear or chemical process industry.
• Demonstrated design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
• Ability to perform walk-downs of systems in the field.
• Must be a US Citizen.

• 2D MicroStation Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
