Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, preferably with dealership or service center experience
  • Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, mechanical and electrical systems, and repair procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • A clean driving record
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications preferred
  • Hyundai experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including Hyundai and other makes as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues, repairs, and recommendations
  • Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, repair techniques, and manufacturer updates
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to meet productivity and quality goals
