Requirements

Current Hyundai certification preferred
ASE certifications are a plus
Previous dealership or automotive repair experience required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate scan tools and modern automotive diagnostic equipment
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High school diploma or GED required
All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards
Complete warranty and repair orders accurately and efficiently
Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and drivability concerns
Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment and service information systems
Maintain ASE and Hyundai certification requirements
Ensure all work meets dealership quality and safety standards
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA guidelines
Test-drive vehicles as needed to verify repairs
Assist with mentoring apprentice or entry-level technicians when appropriate
