About The Position

At Chapman, we are committed to providing our customer’s top-notch vehicle maintenance and repairs to keep their vehicles running like new. Chapman Bell Rd. Hyundai is seeking a qualified Hyundai certified Automotive Technician to contribute to our dynamic team! As a technician with us, you’ll be part of a collaborative team working closely with other technicians, Service Advisors and the parts department, and will report to the Service Manager.

Requirements

2+ years of automotive technician experience, demonstrating proficient technical and mechanical knowledge.
Hyundai experience and certifications required; engine certification preferred.
Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Collaborative and willing to work as part of a team.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Inform the Service Advisor of any additional services needed, estimating the time needed to complete additional repairs.
Perform work on the repair order per dealership processes.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Thoroughly document inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.
