Hyundai A TECHNICIAN (Up to $15k Sign On Bonus)
About The Position
Ron Marhofer Automall Group is hiring a top-tier master automotive technician for Hyundai of Cuyahoga Falls in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The role delivers expert diagnostics and repairs across vehicle systems, mentors junior technicians, and ensures repairs meet factory standards. The listed hourly salary range is $30.00–$41.00. A retention-based 2026 sign-on bonus is available, with the amount determined by technician tier: Master Technician, $15,000; A-Level Technician, $9,000; B-Level Technician, $5,000 or an equivalent non-taxed tool allowance; and C-Level Technician, $2,500 or an equivalent non-taxed tool allowance. Each bonus is paid in installments of 25% after 30 days, 25% after 6 months, and 50% after 12 months, on the 15th of the month following tier completion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
- ASE Certification and Manufacturer Certification.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and electrical systems.
- Maintain ASE certifications A1–A9, covering engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, engine performance, and light vehicle diesel engines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Associate degree or completion of an accredited Automotive Technology program.
- Dealership-level experience leading a shop or mentoring technicians.
- Advanced diesel engine repair experience.
- Multi-brand manufacturer certifications across domestic and import vehicles.
- Proven shop leadership and mentoring ability.
- Advanced computer diagnostic proficiency.
- Exceptional customer satisfaction focus.
- Strong teamwork orientation to support fellow technicians and service advisors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead as Shop Leader and mentor junior technicians to support their professional growth and development.
- Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, suspension, brake, electrical, HVAC, and diesel systems.
- Perform thorough multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Provide accurate labor estimates.
- Document repairs and diagnostics accurately.
- Ensure repairs meet factory specifications and quality standards.
