FX is seeking an energetic, passionate, and highly motivated HYROX Coach & Personal Trainer to help lead the launch and growth of our newly established FX HYROX Training Club. This is a unique opportunity to join a luxury fitness, wellness, and recovery brand that is redefining what fitness can be. We are investing in official HYROX-style equipment, facility upgrades, coach education, and full simulation experiences to create the premier HYROX training destination in the region. Located in Hunt Valley, Maryland, FX HYROX Training Club will be part of the FX Well family of companies and offers a unique combination of personal training, group fitness, HYROX training, recovery services, salon services, spa and massage services, med spa services, and corporate wellness programs. Our members don't simply workout - they become part of a complete wellness ecosystem.

Requirements

• Certification: One or more of the following certifications is required: NASM CPT, ACSM CPT, NSCA CPT, NSCA-CSCS, ACE CPT, or ISSA CPT.
• CPR/AED: Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Functional Fitness & Endurance Training: Passion for performance training, functional fitness, strength training, endurance training, and helping athletes of all abilities improve.
• Personal Training: Ability to deliver outstanding personal training sessions, consultations, assessments, goal-setting conversations, and individualized coaching experiences.
• Group Coaching Presence: High-energy, engaging coaching style with the ability to motivate groups while providing individualized attention and proper instruction.
• Communication & Relationship Building: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust, rapport, and lasting relationships with members and teammates.
• Leadership: Ability to lead by example through professionalism, personal fitness, accountability, and a commitment to member success.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture.
• Performance Tracking: Ability to conduct movement assessments, track progress, review performance metrics, and help members work toward measurable goals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HYROX racing or training, CrossFit coaching, functional fitness coaching, strength and conditioning, endurance coaching, running coaching, group fitness instruction, or athletic performance training is highly desirable.
• Athlete Mindset: Competitive athletes and former collegiate athletes are encouraged to apply.
• Growth Mindset: Qualified candidates should be excited to pursue HYROX coach education, HYROX certification pathways, advanced performance coaching education, continuing education opportunities, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy HYROX group training classes using functional fitness, endurance, and race-specific coaching principles.
• Coach athletes of all fitness levels with clear instruction, motivation, safety awareness, and scalable training options.
• Deliver exceptional one-on-one personal training experiences, including consultations, goal setting, movement assessments, and customized coaching.
• Assist members with HYROX race preparation, performance goals, pacing strategies, and competition readiness.
• Track athlete progress and performance metrics, including training benchmarks leaderboard results, and race simulation outcomes.
• Participate in and help execute race simulations, competitions, community events, and HYROX-focused member experiences.
• Build strong relationships with members, personal training clients, and group training participants to foster accountability and community.
• Help grow, promote, and elevate the HYROX program through member engagement, program support, and collaboration with the entire FX team.
• Support the use of official-style HYROX equipment, including SkiErgs, RowErgs, competition sleds, dedicated turf training areas, and other performance tools.
• Collaborate with fitness, wellness, recovery, and corporate wellness teammates to create a complete performance and recovery experience for members.
