Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Hyperion SmartView, Essbase, Planning or related financial systems
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, macros and automation with SmartView
- Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning functionalities for budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in revamping, automating or optimizing budgeting systems using Hyperion Planning
- Background in financial reporting, FP&A or accounting with a solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud
- Experience in scripting or coding languages such as SQL, VBA, or Python
- Proactive approach in anticipating and preventing potential delays that could impact customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure the seamless integration and accuracy of our financial systems.
- Lead initiatives to revamp the budgeting system, enhancing Hyperion Planning functionalities for improved forecasting and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain SmartView reports.
- Optimize Excel for user-friendly reporting.
- Support financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Troubleshoot SmartView performance issues.
- Provide end-user training.
- Monitor data accuracy across Hyperion applications.
- Anticipate and prevent delays or other things that can adversely affect the customer.
- Keep customers informed about the status of pending actions and inquiries.
