Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Hyperion SmartView, Essbase, Planning or related financial systems
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, macros and automation with SmartView
  • Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning functionalities for budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience in revamping, automating or optimizing budgeting systems using Hyperion Planning
  • Background in financial reporting, FP&A or accounting with a solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud
  • Experience in scripting or coding languages such as SQL, VBA, or Python
  • Proactive approach in anticipating and preventing potential delays that could impact customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure the seamless integration and accuracy of our financial systems.
  • Lead initiatives to revamp the budgeting system, enhancing Hyperion Planning functionalities for improved forecasting and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain SmartView reports.
  • Optimize Excel for user-friendly reporting.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Troubleshoot SmartView performance issues.
  • Provide end-user training.
  • Monitor data accuracy across Hyperion applications.
  • Anticipate and prevent delays or other things that can adversely affect the customer.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of pending actions and inquiries.
