About The Position

As a Hyperion Planning functional analyst, you help manage financial accounts in accordance with the organization’s objectives by producing reports, performing audits, inspections and financial simulations, and analyzing financial risks, losses and profits. You take on a leadership role for development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives. The nature of the files requires extensive and in-depth knowledge in your field, so you must always demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail. You participate in the financial performance, planning and review of budget processes. You help manage and monitor accounting systems by gathering, processing and recording financial data to accurately reflect the organization’s economic activity. You participate in product and service pricing and financial engineering; in financial market transactions; and in tax law analysis (including payroll).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in functional analysis, including gathering requirements and writing functional specifications
  • Experience working in a technical support department in a business environment and with Hyperion applications
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English
  • Expertise in managing multiple requests and priorities, demonstrated through certification and/or relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Knowledge of operational support processes
  • Knowledge of MS Office as well as ServiceNow and MOS/Oracle ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of the EPM, PCM, ARCS and HFM modules

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and meet the solution’s business and maintenance needs
  • Collaborate on the detailed design of the solution
  • Cocreate with business partners to define needs and manage backlogs
  • Work as part of an agile team
  • Help configure and develop solutions that meet the product owner’s technical and business needs
  • Define and run test cases for development and configurations applied throughout the delivery cycle
  • Provide support to manage IT incidents
