At Madden & Gilbert Physical Therapy, we help people get back to normal naturally and have expanded our services to include Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). We are looking for a dependable, motivated team member to help us deliver an exceptional patient experience and support the operations of our growing HBOT program. This position starts as a Part-Time Hyperbaric Assistant, but we are hiring with the future in mind. We want someone excited to get in on the ground floor, learn the operations from the inside out, and grow into a Certified Hyperbaric Technician as our HBOT program expands. If that excites you, keep reading. Job Description What You’ll Actually Do You will help keep our hyperbaric department organized, prepared, safe, and running smoothly.

Requirements

  • You have a ‘no task too small’ attitude and a ‘no goal too big’ mindset and genuinely want to use your skills to help people.
  • You understand that the little things—like a clean chamber, stocked supplies, and maintained equipment—are the foundation of great patient care.
  • Detail-oriented. You are a self-starter who takes pride in clean spaces, organized paperwork, stocked supplies, and completed checklists.
  • Take Ownership. If something needs attention, you handle it.
  • Communicate Clearly. You are professional, friendly, and easy to trust.
  • Growth Mindset. You are excited by the idea of learning this specialty, taking on more responsibility, and eventually earning your CHT certification.
  • Passion for Healthcare. Medical or health-related experience is strongly preferred (EMT, Medical Assistant, LPN, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly, prep chambers with sheets, and assist with patient duties.
  • Assist with EMR tasks, including patient check-in, scheduling, charges, and payments.
  • Keep supplies and commonly used forms stocked and ready.
  • Complete daily safety checks and logs.
  • Assist with chamber cleaning and routine maintenance, manage clinic laundry, and help prepare for the following day.
  • Prepare and scan documents as needed, and maintain organized and accurate patient records.
