Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Hyperbaric Tech, you will meticulously set up the interior of the hyperbaric chamber before each treatment session. You will ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed and equipment is fully functional, directly impacting patient well-being during therapy. Every day you will monitor patients within the hyperbaric environment, ensuring their comfort and promptly addressing any concerns or emergencies. You will assist with patient preparation and documentation, contributing to a seamless and secure treatment process. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of hyperbaric medicine principles, emergency procedures, and equipment operation. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a compassionate approach to patient care, collaborating effectively within the hyperbaric team.

Requirements

  • Recent medical training as an EMT, Corpsman, Medic or LPN
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Physical strength to move and lift patients and equipment
  • Employment is contingent upon certification of physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position without hazard to self or others. (Such certification must be renewed no later than every two (2) years).
  • A High School Diploma or GED
