About The Position

Registered Dental Hygienists (RDHs) provide licensed dental hygiene services and assist dentists with hygiene, periodontal, and dental care and treatment. The position works in a clean, well-lit dental office and requires adherence to radiological procedures and infection-control protocols. The RDH must use appropriate personal protective equipment during patient care and when handling contaminated instruments or equipment. Safety expectations include wearing safety glasses, surgical masks, full-arm-length gowns or lab coats, and gloves; open-toe shoes are not permitted, long hair must be pulled back, and fingernails must be short and tidy.
