About The Position

A Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) provides licensed dental hygiene services, implements appropriate standards-of-care therapy, and assists a dentist with hygiene, periodontal, and dental care and treatment. The role involves evaluating teeth and periodontal tissues, providing preventive and periodontal treatments, taking dental and carpal radiographs, performing in-office whitening, and recommending re-care intervals and follow-up needs. The RDH works in a clean, well-lit dental office and follows radiological procedures and infection-control protocols. Personal protective equipment is required during patient care and when handling contaminated instruments or equipment. Open-toe shoes are forbidden; long hair must be tied back, and fingernails must be kept short and tidy.
