Part Time Hygiene Assistant
About The Position
Espire is seeking a part-time Hygiene Assistant for its Erie, Colorado location. The role supports the dental hygienist with patient care and helps maintain an organized, welcoming office. The assistant takes and records medical and dental histories; prepares and sterilizes instruments and equipment; performs coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications; takes and develops radiographs if certified; educates patients about oral hygiene; and provides chairside assistance to the dentist as needed. Office responsibilities include keeping the operatory clean and organized, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients, and assisting with front desk duties as needed. The schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a day shift. The posted pay range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Be a passionate dental professional who loves the work.
- Be familiar with dental equipment and instruments.
- Have experience using digital technology and electronic medical records.
- Be willing and able to participate in training, which may include travel.
- Be willing to build trusting relationships with team members and patients.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Cerec, 3Shape, and intraoral scanning.
- Experience with sedation and dental implant placement and restoration.
